Debcl, the pro-cell death Bcl-2 homologue in Drosophila

My current project on Debcl involved the overexpression of this Bcl-2 homologue in the Ddc-Gal4-expressing neurons of Drosophila. The results obtained indicate severe pro-death signalling by Debcl, especially under conditions of stress.
